Chalutzim (grades K-2)
Chalutzim (pioneers) is our youngest Chai youth group with monthly programs that include social, religious/educational and social action. Life-long bonds and friendships form early as our youngest children get to experience many engaging aspects of Jewish life.
Cost – $25/year
Machar (grades 3-5)
Machar (tomorrow) get together once a month during the school year for fun, exciting events to start building a community. Macharniks get a taste of what the older youth groups do by participating in activities that include social, religious, athletic, social action and much more. Machar engages the children and creates friendships through its programs.

Kadima (grades 6-8)
Kadima (forward) is an exciting community participating in monthly programs, lock-ins and weekly “lounge afternoons”. The programs include social, religious/education and social action to give our Kadimaniks a taste of what they will experience later in USY. Kadimaniks are able to attend conventions with Kadimaniks from all over the Hanegev Region and are given membership to Kadima internationally.
Cost – $50/year *$30 for 2nd semester*
USY (grades 9-12)
United Synagogue Youth (USY) is our senior youth group and offers a spectrum of programming that covers all aspects of Judaism from social to religious services. Diverse programming is planned by the USYers themselves and is an important part of the Chai USY experience. By the time our youth move forward after participating in the Chai Youth Community, they should be confident and capable Jewish leaders. Our UYSers also attend regional and international conventions with USYers from around the Southeast and North America. We are members of Ein Gedi subregion of Hanegev.
Cost – $90/year *$50 for 2nd semester*
