CITY-WIDE BLOOD DRIVE

For years this quarterly drive has helped restock the American Red Cross with pints of blood. This beautiful and wonderful work needs your support. Scheduled Date & Time: Sunday, November 7, 2010 | 9:00AM to 2:00PM.

August's Blood Drive: Thanks to everybody who participated in our August blood drive and bone marrow screening. We had 60 people come to donate blood that yielded 56 pints of blood. Bonnie Garber was the winner of the raffle for 2 Braves tickets! Special thanks to the team who staffed the blood drive and made calls: Celia Gilner, Patsy Little, Bebe Kaplan, Mindy Margolis, Sonia Oxman, Raymond Yarfitz, Asher and Gracie Benator (Or Ve Shalom) Elizabeth Alterman and Esther Gordon; and to Starr Moss and her staff for helping with set-up and arrangements. Making an appointment is easy...

Just click this link (enter jwv as your sponsor code). Once you get to the website, enter your email address and date of birth. If you have used the online appointment system before your information will display for your approval. (If you have not used our online system before you can register and fill out the form with some basic information that the blood bank will need.) Then click the "Continue and View Blood Drives" button. You will see our blood drive listed. Click the circle to the left of the day you would like your appointment; continue to the next page and pick a time... an email confirming your appointment will be returned.

Thank you for saving a life! Walk-ins are always welcome but donors with appointments are given priority.
