Daily Minyan

The Morning Minyan is held Monday – Friday beginning at 7:15 AM; and on Sunday and many legal holidays at 8:30AM.  Its length is 45-60 minutes. The Shacharit (morning) Service starts the day in a manner that we hope “spiritually primes” its participants for a good day. We encourage participants to wear tallit and tefillin. We seek to balance the use of Hebrew, English and song and provide time for private meditation. A continental breakfast is served following services.  Barbara Feinberg has assumed responsibility for women's participation in the minyan on Tuesday mornings.

The Evening Minyan, approximately 30 minutes in length, begins at 6:00PM for much of the month of February through the conclusion of daylight saving time. In the late fall and winter months the service begins at 5:30PM. The service is approximately 30 minutes in length.

At both our Morning and Evening Minyan Services, in the spirit of support for those who have suffered the loss of loved ones, we recall the names of those whose yahrzeits (anniversary of death) are being observed and offer mourners and those observing yahrzeits the opportunity to recite the Mourner’s Kaddish.

balloonsDaily Minyan Birthday Breakfast | August 15, 2010

Usually held on a Sunday... Sally Kaplan coordinates our bi-monthly Birthday/Anniversary Breakfast which follows 8:30AM Minyan. Join us for Daily Minyan followed by a really wonderful breakfast in honor of birthday and anniversary celebrants! RSVP: We hope you will join us. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it | 404.355.5222; we want to have enough food for all!  If you are unable to attend the celebration, your contributions to the Daily Minyan-Helen Cavalier & Joe Cohen Fund are greatly appreciated... all proceeds are used to provide Shiva trays to bereaved families on behalf of the congregation.

Volunteer Opportunity: If you want to help in the mitzvah of making calls to our birthday and anniversary celebrants, Sally would appreciate hearing from you. She has a regular faithful crew, but it would be less of a burden (and more mitzvah!) if the list could be divided among more people. So make the call to Sally @770.952.8752, and let her know you'll help!
