In the Spotlight: Marissa Ander

Marissa is working hard on her Bat Mitzvah (November 5, 2011) project and is asking for a little help from her friends!

She has a love for animals and is putting her efforts into providing some relief for the future pets of the Atlanta Humane Society. On October 10 you will see her familiar ‘mitzvah barrel’ at the entrance of the shul, which will remain through November for your contributions. Read Marissa’s message here.

Kimberly & Adam Goldstein are proud to announce the birth of their baby boy, Jordan Theodore Goldstein, born August 31, 2011. Others sharing the joy are Grandparents, Liz & Bobby Goldstein and Lois & Gary Spuller and Great-Grandparents, Betty & Leon Goldstein, Helen & Frank Spiegel, and Marion & Ted Spuller.


Judd & Estee Jaffe | Judd Jaffe, son of Marcia Caller Jaffe and Dennis Jaffe, and Estee Rosenberg, daughter of Sharon and Bobby Rosenberg, were married on August 30, 2011 in Yad Benyamin, Israel. After their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Southfield, Michigan. Another reception is planned for October in Atlanta.
