Bet is for Baby | Sunday's in February, 10:00AM - 11:30AM
Our congregation will offer a three-part series, “Bet is for Baby” for expectant parents. Session 1 | February 5 w/Jodi Forman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice, will discuss transitions to parenthood and issues that new parents often face. Session 2 | February 12 participants will meet with Rabbi Sandler and Dr. Daniel Goodman, a mohel, to discuss Hebrew names and Jewish naming customs and ceremonies. And Session 3 | February 26, Rabbi Laurence Rosenthal and Marcia Lindner, Director of Formal and Informal Education at AA, will discuss how to create a Jewish home environment, including such things as bedtime rituals and what resources are available within the Jewish community beyond birth. |||The series is free and open to the community. AAbsolutely Shabbat 4Kids & Shabbat Rocks! | 6:00PM – 7:30PM
Friday, February 10 | Simply Shabbat! Join Rabbi Rosenthal, Marcia Linder and Mr. Michael Levine (the Learning Groove) for a Shabbat service geared towards parents and young children. Practice home rituals, sing Shabbat songs and learn traditional prayers while making new friends and building community. Info

Shabbat Rocks! Our older kid awesome Shabbat experience runs concurrently with AAbsolutely 4Kids and is designed and led by Summer Jacobs. This service is perfect for older siblings of the 4kids service or any child between the ages of 8-12 years old. Parents are free to join their youngest children in the AAsbolutely 4kids service or have their own Shabbat prayer experience with Rabbi Sandler in the Ellman Chapel. Shabbat has never been this fun. Shabbat Children's Programming | (follows the school calendar).
Perachim (2’s, 3’s and 4’s): 10:45AM – 11:45AM Jr. Congregations (K-7th): 10:30AM – 12:00PM | NOTE: Jr. Congregation will continue every Saturday morning throughout the summer.
Family Services take place the 1st Shabbat morning of the month at 10:00AM (check calendar for schedule). Children and their families participate together in an age-appropriate Torah Study and an interactive family service led by Rabbi Laurence Rosenthal, Jordan Forman and Marcia Lindner… Shabbat for the whole family!
All children will return to their families in the main congregation for the conclusion of the service. Children will be invited by the rabbis to come to the bima for Ein Keloheinu, Adon Olam, Kiddush, and Hamotzi. Babysitting is available every Shabbat and Holiday for children ages 8 weeks – 5 years.
