OverviewIn the year 1920, a group of ten women revitalized a loosely organized ‘Ladies Auxiliary’ into the Ahavath Achim Sisterhood. Since that time, the women of Ahavath Achim Sisterhood have provided strong support to the synagogue community by being open to new challenges, charting new paths and welcoming new opportunities. We look forward to celebrating our 90th birthday in 2010. Ahavath Achim Sisterhood is a part of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism which is dedicated to the creation of a vibrant American Jewish community that nurtures the individual, the family and the community with the values of Jewish tradition.
