Barry Herman was born in Johannesburg South Africa. He has a background in retail having worked for many blue Chip companies in South Africa before leaving to start his own business. The last business that Barry was involved in before immigrating to the United States, was Retail Fashion Services, a retail consulting company of which Barry was the founder and Managing Director. Barry immigrated with his family to the USA in November 2001 to pursue an opportunity in the retail/wholesale lighting industry.
